Cheesy Cauliflower bites | 3 ingredients

Cheesy cauliflower bites is another original recipe to use cauliflower. This is the third recipe I made with the SAME cauliflower!

Now think about this: a cauliflower is about £1 or £2 and you can make easily 4 different recipes with it! How cool is that?

I managed to make these cheesy bites and two kind of baked cauliflower balls (see recipe here and there) and still have a large portion of shredded cauliflower left in the freezer.

Positive: Light and spongy. Combine ingredients in less than 5 minutes, bake 20 minutes, ready!

Negative: A bit fat, but hey, who doesn’t like some fat?

Ingredients (for 20 bites):

  • 200 g cauliflower (raw and shredded)
  • 100 g grated cheddar
  • 1 egg

In your pantry:

  • oregano (optional)
  • garlic (optional)
  • salt, pepper

Recipe:

Combine all the ingredients.

Fill a mini muffin tin (preferably in silicon, otherwise you’ll need muffin cases or oil to prevent sticking) with the preparation.

Now that’s a bit messy. Let’s flatten everything and tidy up a bit.

Much better now, isn’t it? Ready to place in preheated oven at 180°C.

And 20 minutes later…

Ready to eat!

My advice: You could also add ham or tuna.
