Admit it. You’re craving potato chips? It’s ok, you don’t have to feel guilty, it happens to all of us.
Positive: They are healthy because they are yours, made with your potatoes, your oil and your salt. They are crispy and they are the best chips you have ever eaten.
Negative: A bit long to make. So don’t think about eating a lot of them. I would say it takes about 20 minutes (preparation and cooking time) for a small bag of chips. Since you will eat them in 32 seconds… it is indeed quite long to make!
Ingredients (for 1): 3 small potatoes – evo oil – salt
Peel potatoes (or not) and slice them thin using a mandolin.
Place them in a single layer on a plate covered with parchment paper. They should not touch each other, that’s why you can only cook them in several times.
Drizzle a little bit of oil and using your hand make sure each side of the potatoes is oiled.
Sprinkle some salt. (I used ground pink salt but normal salt is fine)
Cook in microwave on high power for about 3-4 minutes until they are dry and slightly golden.
My advice: Make sure to enjoy them one by one.
