Homemade Bounty bars

I discovered this recipe on iFood.it and immediately wanted to try it. I mean bounty bars? With 3 ingredients?? I’m in!

Positive: Easy-peasy and super yummy. Plus you get to lick your fingers after you shape the coconut rolls… they will taste of Ferrero Raffaello candies!! I promise.

Negative: You can’t exactly make them at the last minute because of the resting time in fridge, but it’s probably for the best.

Ingredients (for 8 small bars): 100 g dark chocolate – 75 g of shredded coconut – 100 g sweetened condensed milk

In a mixing bowl, combine shredded coconut and sweetened condensed milk.

Mould mixture into 8 small rolls and place them on a plate or tray covered with parchment paper. Then using the flat edge of a knife, compact rolls into rectangles. Leave in fridge overnight (about 8 hours).

Heat chocolate in a bain-marie. When completely melted, cover top and sides of the coconut rectangles with chocolate. Allow to dry in fridge for about 10 minutes, then cover the rest of the chocolate bar.

My advice: You can try different chocolate flavour. I made these with orange flavoured chocolate and I loved them!
